Basic Mechanics
💰 Increase Your Profits
All the money you earn is based on your coffee gain. The amount you get per second, event bonuses, mini-game rewards, and more, are all based on your coffee gain.
Coffee gains are only boosted by purchasing new coffees, so whenever you can, buy new ones.
At first, it may seem useless to buy new coffees since their returns are low, and you won’t keep clicking the “Make Coffee” button anymore. However, the rest of the game takes this value as a multiplier for your earnings.
💸 Passive Earnings
As with any good idle/incremental game, you can also earn money per second. This is activated by opening branches. The more branches you open, the more passive income you will earn. There are also second-earning multipliers available in the shop.
Keep an eye on available upgrades. And remember: increasing coffee gain also boosts your passive earnings multiplier!
👨🍳 Employees
Employees are great for boosting your passive income early on, but they can also be a bit of a headache 😤
Over time, it may seem like employees don’t provide as much return as other game resources, but this is when you should focus on improving their production speed and maximizing their earnings.
And relax! There are upgrades available in the shop to make them stop sleeping and slacking off. Keep calm and “WARN/AWAKE”! 😆
🌱 Coffee Cultivation
Coffee cultivation is the key to progressing in the game. At first, it may seem like investing heavily in land and seeds is not worth it since the return is low. But remember: the more expensive the land and seed, the greater your return on harvest.
You always receive more than double what you paid for the seed, and to increase the seed price, you need to buy new land!
🎮 Mini-Games
Mini-games are a fun way to break up the gameplay. Instead of just staying “idle,” you can enjoy yourself while waiting for your crops to grow or gathering money for the next upgrade.
The money you earn in mini-games increases with your coffee earnings. And remember: when you complete a mini-game, you get an extra reward!
Tips
💹 Items are expensive and I’m not making enough money. What should I do?
First, check if you’ve purchased all the types of coffee to ensure you have a good gain per coffee rate, as other multipliers depend on this.
Also, check how many branches you have. The more branches, the more passive income per second! Don’t forget to upgrade your employees too!
If you’re still struggling with money, consider investing in coffee cultivation and unlocking secret recipes in the recipe book.
📖 How do I unlock the recipe book?
The coffees in the recipe book cannot be bought. You need to earn them!
Here’s a hint: [spoiler] the “Flavor Expedition” expansion unlocks 3 coffees in the recipe book! The other 2, I’ll leave for you to discover.
🏆 How do I unlock Steam achievements?
No spoilers, but [spoiler] Conradito Cafézito has a “rebirth” mode called “New Roast,” which allows you to restart the game with new upgrades. This extends the game’s lifespan and adds replayability. Most of the “impossible” achievements are unlocked through this mode.
